Congratulations on your engagement!
Since 2006, I've photographed over 200 weddings in Minnesota, across the country, and abroad. Weddings are amazing and there is never one exactly like another. They are as unique as each couple and that is what I LOVE about being a wedding photographer. Your day will include details about you, your fiancé, your love and your dreams together.
Your wedding is the start of a new chapter and a big part of my job is to help it run smoothly. We watch the schedule, help you know when and where to be places. Through the years, I’ve been known to share an earring back or bobby pins, to pin flowers on Grandma or the groomsmen, and to help orchestrate a bustle when necessary.
Anticipating moments throughout your day, I will tell your story intimately and genuinely so when you look at your wedding photos you not only see people but you feel all of the emotions come flooding back.

FAQ
+ Should we do an engagement shoot?
Yes! In my opinion, engagement photos are one the best services you and your fiancé can take advantage of prior to your wedding day. Not only do you get great pictures together, an engagement session will get any awkwardness out of the way before your event, so when we start shooting at your wedding, you will feel comfortable and relaxed. The more time we spend together, the better. You get to know me and I learn what you enjoy and what makes you smile and laugh.
+ Should we do a 'first look' before the ceremony?
Well it depends, you need to be true to your desires as a couple. When you see one another before your guests arrive, you give yourselves time to just enjoy being together. We create space and time for you to be able to talk and relax together. If it is important for you both to see one another for the first time during the ceremony, I recommend taking time right after your ceremony as well as at dusk to get more variety in your photos. Honestly, it works both ways and my goal is to support your dreams for your day by being flexible and working alongside you.
+ Will we be able to meet/talk with you before the wedding?
Yes! About three weeks before your wedding day, I will send you your wedding checklist. Then we can either talk or set up a meeting to go over the checklist, talk about your preferences, and confirm the timeline for your wedding day.
